81st Louisiana State FFA Convention 

      This year’s Convention theme, "Lead Out Loud" challenges all of us to make an example of ourselves as stewards of service and leadership. We welcome you to take part in the Louisiana Association of FFA’s biggest event of the year—our 81st State Convention. On June 1-4, 2010, FFA members, advisors and guests from across the state will meet in beautiful Alexandria to share our mutual passion for premier leadership, personal growth and career success. 

      This Convention has an exceptional line-up of exhilarating sessions and activities, educational workshops, a great career show and notable special guests and speakers. We encourage you and your students to take advantage of workshops and committee meetings designed to help achieve your personal best and get up-to-date on FFA issues facing our state. This year’s experience will certainly help motivate FFA members to increase personal achievement, expand career opportunities and promote agriculture.

      Each Convention has been instrumental in bringing agricultural enthusiasts, supporters, and students together to network and learn about the tremendous accomplishments that FFA members and chapters have made. We have faced many new challenges and created a new vision for the future. Last year we challenged you to step up and stand out. It is only fitting to continue that challenge as we invite YOU to "LEAD OUT LOUD!" Whether you’ve been to a dozen State Conventions or this is your first, this is the year to come and be a part of the future of FFA and Agricultural Education in Louisiana.
